The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Zamfara State Council has presented Ramadan palliatives to families of deceased members.
"The gesture aims to honor their contributions to journalism" .
NUJ Chairman Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare said the council will design policies to support deceased members' families, focusing on health, education, and skills development.
He thanked the state governor's wife, Hajia Hurraiya Dauda, for additional support.
Former NUJ Chairman and Ethics Committee Chair urged beneficiaries to utilize the palliatives properly.
National NUJ representative Comrade Abdulrazaq Bello Kaura emphasized the national secretariat's willingness to assist councils prioritizing member welfare.
Report indicated that Thirteen families received ₦25,000 each and other packages.(Daily Focus News)
