The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa rtd, has assured Nigerians of the capacity and capability of the Nigerian Military and other security formations to win the war against renewed activities of insurgents in the country, especially in the North East, Nigeria.
General Musa made the statement while speaking to newsmen after a strategic close door meet with President Tinubu and other Service Chiefs and the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Minister of Defence urged Nigerians to have confidence in the Nigerian military saying that the military and other agencies are currently reviewing their strategies and approach to the re-insurgence and will do everything possible to bring the rising situation under control.
General Christopher Musa Rtd, while lamented the situation regretted the casualties occasioned by the renewed activities of the terrorists, promising that the sacrifices the injured and fallen heroes shall not allowed to be in vain.
The Defense Minister thanked the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his immeasurable support to the military, especially in the acquisition of required modern weapons to meet up with the prevailing realities of insecurity challenges in the country in the protection of Nigeria's territorial integrity.(Investigator News)
