The Kebbi State House of Assembly has elected Hon. Muhammad Salisu Dangoje as its new Speaker following the demise of the former Speaker, Hon. Muhammad Usman Zuru.
Hon. Dangoje was unanimously endorsed by members during plenary and sworn in by the Clerk of the House, Alhaji Suleiman Shamaki.
In his acceptance speech, the new Speaker expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to provide inclusive leadership, strengthen the legislature, and work closely with all stakeholders to advance good governance and development in Kebbi State.
He also extended condolences to the family of the late Speaker, the people of Zuru Emirate, and the entire state over the loss.(Global News Guru)
